On Thursday April 20, 2006 Angstrom Engineering Inc. and MBraun Inc. were honoured for their export partnership with the southwest regional gold award in the 8th Annual Ontario Global Traders Awards ceremony.

First introduced in 1998, the Ontario Global Traders Awards (OGTA) recognize the outstanding export achievements of the most innovative and successful small and medium-sized enterprises, leaders and students in Ontario.

Now in its eighth year, the reputation of the awards is growing and winners are chosen from an increasingly competitive pool of nominees.  An independent interdisciplinary panel of judges is charged with evaluating nominations in six award categories: Innovation, Market Expansion Product, Market Expansion Service, Partnership, Student Achievement and Leadership.

Angstrom Engineering Inc. has been designing and manufacturing customizable vacuum systems with a focus on thin film deposition research and pre-production industries throughout North America since 1992.

MBraun Inc. located in New Hampshire and Munich designs and manufactures inert gas technology for glove box systems and solvent purification applications.

Over the past three years Angstrom Engineering and MBraun have been integrating their unique products and capabilities in order to meet the highly specialized needs of their expanding customer base.  The partnership has increased sales opportunities for both companies while enhancing their ability to offer a fully integrated solution.
